Why do we live in a computer simulation?

After sleepless nights, wondering about the meaning of live and of the lyrics of Dino Meira, consequently I took the most logical steep and GoogleIt!
Enjoy and maybe the question does even make sense.

Me, Myself and My Ego

PS. - The title was actually a link, so now it is here: http://www.simulation-argument.com/simulation.html

For some values of computer and simulation it is trivially true that we are living in the context of such a simulation, for an accurate simulation of a physical universe would require an actual physical universe.

Maybe you could be clearer in your writing...

Actually, a accurate (whatever that is) simulation of this universe, or what we comprehend as the universe, could be done in a more complex universe, one that encompasses this one (and no, this doesn't brake the dogmatic definition of our universe).
The problem with such über-universe concept is that it leads explanations to ad infinitum. However, although very unlikely, it is still possible.
